National Stressed Awareness Day is observed on the first Wednesday of November during International Stress Awareness Week. This day highlights the importance of managing stress in our daily lives.
I am a big stress head, as my husband often tells me. Some of us deal with stress better than others. I am not too good at dealing with stress. Do you know that feeling when your palms start sweating, and your heart is racing? The only thing which works for me is to keep busy and deep breathing.
Stress is something that all of us will experience at some point, if not every day. Stress is our body’s reaction to help us deal with pressure or threats. When this happens, your body releases hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol, which can lead to physical symptoms such as headaches or stomach pains and emotional ones like anxiety attacks. Our stress hormone levels usually return to normal once the pressure or threat has passed.
Our pets can be stressed too.
However, they can’t tell us how they feel. We must lookout for the signs. So how to know that our dogs are stressed?
The signs of stress in dogs are:
Whining or barking
Pacing, shaking, or panting
Yawning, drooling, and licking
Avoidance or displacement behaviour
Hiding or escape behaviour
Changes in bodily functions
Changes in eyes and ears, change in body posture

Is there a way how to calm our doggies and help them deal with stress?
Is there a way how to do it naturally?
The answer is YES & YES!
Jitka, the founder of Vita Canis, developed a unique Calming Floral Spray a few years back that helps doggies feel better, less stressed, and less anxious.
Calming Floral Spray has already helped many dogs deal with their stress from fireworks, hyperactivity, motion sickness, difficulties adjusting, vets’ visits, grooming salon visits, etc. It’s a little miracle, as I have seen it in action many times. I won’t claim that it helps every dog, but it helps many of them, as sometimes there can be other underlying issues.
Calming Floral Spray comes in 3 sizes: 250ml, 100ml (the most popular size), and the handy 30 ml size for your handbag.
Why not give it a try? Or why not gift it to your dog-loving family or friends?
Have a lovely and stress-free day if possible 😊
