What are the wax melts?
Wax melts are a great alternative to scented candles. They are also generally safer to use around pets than candles.
Unlike candles, wax melts don’t have a wick, so they need to be heated in an oil burner or electric burner. You don’t add water to them.
What are Calming Wax Melts made from?
We make our wax melts from high-quality natural soy wax and essential oils. This wax has an excellent scent throw.
How do I use wax melts?
Place the Calming Wax Melt cube on the top of your oil burner. Then place a lighted tealight in the bottom part of the oil burner. NEVER ADD WATER!!!
Same with the electric burner. Add a cube of our wax melt to the top of your electric burner and switch it on.
How big is one cube of Calming Wax Melts?
Each cube is is 2.5cm x 2.3cm x 1.3cm; and weighs approximately 6 grams
How are your wax melts packed?
We pack six cubes in biodegradable, recyclable glassine bags.
What do your wax melts smell like?
Calming Wax Melts are inspired by our calming products Calming Floral Spray and Comfort Blend. They have a subtle light and refreshing floral aroma.
Can I use the melts in both a tealight oil burner and an electric burner?
Yes, you can. However, a tealight oil burner often has a stronger scent throw.
How do I remove used wax melts from my oil burner?
The easiest way to remove wax melts for your oil burner is to light the tealight candle underneath and leave it just for a very short while. It will melt underneath, and then you can easily slide it out.
How can Calming Wax Melts help my dog?
Our wax melts can help your dogs with stress, fireworks fear, and anxiety. The essential oils in the wax melts have a harmonising effect on the nervous system. They can also help you if you have insomnia.
How do I use wax melts safely?
Keep burners away from pets and children. Always use within sight and never leave unattended. Always place the burner on a flat non-combustible surface, and DO NOT move your burner or wax melt until completely cool. Use only unscented tealights.
Never add water to wax melts. And please don’t eat them!!
Do wax melts evaporate?
Wax melts do not evaporate, so you can simply reheat them until the fragrance goes. Once you can no longer smell the aroma, you can throw away your used wax melt and start a new one.
How long does your wax melts smell nice while burning?
The scent throw depends not only on the wax we use but also on the temperature of your oil burner and the airflow in your room.
You should expect a single cube to last between 6 to 15 hours.
