Vita Canis Paw Butter is formulated for dry cracked paw pads, noses and elbows in dogs.
100% natural, vegan and cruelty free Paw Butter has a pleasant earthy aroma. UK made Paw Butter is deeply moisturising and nourishing, lick-safe, with no synthetic ingredients and fragrances.
Paw Butter silky smooth and a tiny bit goes a long way.
In general, butters are oil-based products, which means they don’t contain water. There are also different types of butters like whipped (Vita Canis Hand Butter and Paw Butter), with bees wax or even the bar type. Butters with bees wax in them are firmer and harder to absorb. Whilst the whipped butters absorb more easily into the skin.
Shea Butter.
Paw Butter contains Shea Butter that helps cell regeneration. It is humectant (absorbs moisture from the air) so it is also excellent for dry skin. (L. Price; Carrier oils for aromatherapy and massage, 2012)
German chamomile essential oil.
One of the essential oils that you can find in our Paw Butter is German chamomile. It has excellent anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and cicatrizant (healing properties, such as when our bodies form scar tissues). German chamomile also relieves itchy skin.
Not just for paws…
“Bella attends hydrotherapy sessions every two weeks but the necessary chemicals in the water have stripped her skin and coat of its natural oils and she often bites and scratches herself causing red patches and baldness! I spoke with Jitka who suggested trying Vita Canis Paw Butter to create a barrier before swimming and to help soothe the skin after swimming. Paw Butter has made such a difference to Bella, when the wax has been applied Bella’s skin doesn’t rage red and if we see her nibbling we apply the butter and she stops. This has allowed her coat to grow again and much improve her quality of life. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Vita Canis Paw Butter.

I have tried a sample of this and really liked it. I’m a dog groomer and apply to dogs with dry pads and noses or on especially hot or cold days for a little bit extra protection. It smells nice and its completely natural so safe is the dog decides to lick it 5 seconds later…
My only -star is that the metal pots can be hard to open sometimes

Thank you for your lovely comment 🙂 The lid can get stiff if the butter gets in the grooves of the pot x

This really does moisturise my dog’s skin on her dry spots where she nibbles. She has Cushing’s disease which means she has skin problems and I use paw butter after Skin Relief spray to soothe the patches. It smells lovely too.

This product is amazing, thank you ☺️ I bought the paw butter for our King Charles cavalier who through many health problems and heart medication suffers from a very dry nose and paws. Our local groomer recommended your paw butter, the results of which are really amazing, within 7 days of using his nose has begun to heal. Thank you again for your wonderful product

Use the paw butter on my lovely old westies paws at night. It softens and soothes them and along with the skin relief helps keep them healthy as she suffers from terribly itchy skin. These products are amazing and so comforting to know the products are natural. Cannot recommend them enough.
