Yes, you can. But we would recommend consulting with a holistic vet.
I heard essential oils are toxic to dogs.
Some essential oils can indeed be harmful when used undiluted and/or digested. The oils in our product are diluted to such an extent that they are still effective yet perfectly safe.
Essential oils are highly concentrated substances and have the potential to cause harm. I applied the rule “less is more” when I created the products.
Any of the products don’t include Tea Tree oil.
Tea Tree essential oil has strong antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral insect repelling properties. There were reported cases when the oil was applied dermally to dogs and cats. In most cases, the oil was misused and high doses. The increased demand and mass production of Tea Tree oil open the gates for adulterated and poor-quality oils to reach the market. This is resulting in more adverse reactions and irritations in humans and animals.
I the Ear Cleaner, I used the more gentle yet powerful relative of the Tea Tree oil, the Niaouli, instead.
After inhaling calming essential oils, behavioural changes can occur in seconds in most dogs.
It is individual, as each dog is different. With some dogs, few spritzes of Calming Floral Spray may last for hours. However, some of it needs to be reapplied every 15 – 20 minutes. It also depends on the situation your dog is in.
Each dog is different. On some dogs, Calming Floral Spray / Comfort Blend has to be applied more often than on others. https://vitacanis.co.uk/keeping-your-dog-calm-during-stress-or-anxiety-like-fireworks/
All the sprays are suitable for all breeds, and they do not matt or colour the coat.
This is one of the most frequently asked questions.
All the products have on their label for external use only, which means they are not food supplements.
However, if your dog licks the Paw Butter or even Hand Butter from your hands, you don’t have to worry. The natural ingredients like shea butter, neem oil, and olive oil in the Paw Butter and all eatable. The essential oils lavender and German chamomile are well diluted in the Paw Butter.
After applying your dog’s paws, elbows, or patches of dry skin, I would recommend distracting your dog with a game or a walk to prevent licking. So the healing compounds of the Paw Butter can do their job.
And what if your dog licks the Butter straight from the jar? My dogs do it. When I’m buttering their paws in winter, and the jar is on the floor, they all try to lick it. So I take it as a self-selection, and they found the ingredients beneficial to them.
In 250ml bottle is 1250 spritzes. If you are using for example 250ml Tick Off, and you spray your small dog 15 to 20 times before going to woods or fields, the bottle will last about 63 days or walks. Depends how often you spray your dog.

Apart from Calm Cat and Soothing Antiseptic Spray, they don’t contain essential oils but hydrosols; the products are not suitable for cats. Cats are deficient enzymes responsible for metabolizing and eliminating phenols and phenolic acid. And these compounds are commonly contained in pharmaceuticals and health products, including essential oils. Their presents in many essential oils make them unsafe to use around cats.
